가상화는 클라우드 시스템의 기반 기술로, 물리적인 컴퓨팅 자원을 여러 가상 시스템이 효율적으로 공유할 수 있도록 한다.
<진행 중인 주제>
1) 가상화된 스토리지 및 네트워크 장비를 위한 효율적인 IO 처리 기법 (On-going)
2) Intel SGX 와 같은 보안 기법의 가상화 및 Trusted VM 의 Migration 기법 (On-going)
3) VM Migration 으로 인한 IO 성능 저하를 방지하기 위한 Cache migration 기법 (Done)
클라우드는 다수의 물리 시스템의 다양한 물리자원을 가상화하여 통합, 관리하며,
사용자의 요구에 따라 가상머신, 컨테이너 등의 형태로 유연하게 제공해주는 서비스로,
최근 컴퓨팅 서비스는 대부분 클라우드를 기반으로 제공되고 있다.
